mango tango? - i'm "smell" of that now... 2nd day of work - super SHUI [unlucky]... first - as i went to the hawker nearby, the hook of my platform shoes [left side] came off, and i was limbing super slowly to keep my shoes on my feet! later, thanks to the shoe & the slippery tray, my bowl of yong-dou-fu soup spilt over my left foot, skirt & fingers! my fingers were the worst - scalded in red... i was so helpless and no one seems to care or lend me a helping hand, only [i think a lady] passed me a "used" tissue for me to wipe off... it was so embarrassing! i felt so terrible! wondering how m i going to bring back the food back to the table [sitting with 2 other colleagues]. initially i thought at least the stall owner will help, but i was wrong! i'm expecting too much! now i know what's the real world is like! after getting back to the table, luckily one of my colleagues bought me a packet of tissue, but i cant do much except waiting for my skirt & shoe to dry on its own... i lost my appetite then - but i still finished up my lunch... second - it was like pouring when close to my off-time, and when i was leaving the office, it was still drizzling, so i borrow an umbrella from Nicky [nus girl], and so "lucky" that no more rain after i alighted! What the ... ?Now i have to carry one more thing tomorrow! *haiz... same as my jacket... third- initially i thought of keep it in office, but i'm afraid that it will be cold on the bus, so i brought along, but i was wrong again! fourth- thinking of going home to eat beancurd, but suddenly rememeber to check with jimmy if i still have to work, and YES! [unexpectedly] and after going down to work, keep being NAGGED by edmund [esp], and jimmy... saying that i have alot of mistakes and all, i mean i have tried to put in my best to do the work fast as i know jimmy needs to rush to meet his dateline, and the thing is that edmund didn't do much for editing/coding, so as valerie! i did it all by myself, i think i've overstretched myself in doing that, of cos i'll make mistakes. and i somehow feel that edmund is being very exaggerating that i've made many mistakes, like almost every single questionaire also contain mistakes... i was kinda pissed, plus i was so tired from work! but i just kept quiet! after finished all the bored-2-death & lengthy data-punching, i was waiting for edmund to finish, and he was like still taking another 40 mins to do, while i actually dozed off. and jimmy was nagging at me that i didn't bother to care when they call me, but i was aslept! i didnt even hear their calling, how do u expect me to reply? or even go up? i thought they were just checking if i was still in the office or not, not asking me to go up! i really think that i'm being quite dumb! trying hard to help people out, dragging my feet to office even after such a long n tiring day, yet people still never appreciate, yet nag at u somemore! i think this is a lesson learnt, don't need to care so much about dateline, just do at ur own pace, why stress urself out when no one is rushing u now?! fifth- as i thought i was doing something quite new & interesting - mixing solutions with the flavoring concentrate for tomorrow's session, the staff said i'm doing "sai-kang" (rubbish), cuz it's not relevant to marketing at all! come and think about it, it sounds quite true! hmm... am i being exploited? but i thought it's quite an experience as i never do all these lab-work ever since i graduated from secondary school! so i think i should look forward to the real-marketing task soon - the development of the marketing material - desigining & reserach! today is super demoralizing... just hope for the better tomorrow! now i kinda lost faith in cheapo HK stuffs - 1st: the zip of my new bag -- spoilt, now: the buckle of the shoes... i really don't know what comes next mann... just hope not something disaterous happen!!! *crossing my fingers*
