+ 1st pageant meeting + feeling quite sick, initially i didn't thought i gg out anymore, but at the end i changed my mind cuz i'm so tempted to go n take a look at the sports bazaa @ Isetan Shaw, so i treated Wenying PepperLunch for dinner [cuz i promised her b4, besides, it cost me $0 as i've a voucher]; then just happened tat i finally met GuanJie working @ the gelato bar (outside shaw centre), and just happened that it was his last day, so he treated me a free cup of ice cream - LARGE size somemore! (S$6.90 leh!) Unfortunately, i've sore throat & it's a gd excuse to stop myself from the temptation, in fact, i dont fancy lah! cuz WY chose all the ultra sweet flavours (mango & lychee). cuz she wana finish the huge cup of ice cream b4 gg in to see clothes, this is my 1st time seeing people so not enjoying her huge free famous gelato, haha... eventually, AGAIN! she didnt get anything but i got a 3-quart pants (black one) , last piece lah! not bad! haha... Though it was quite a fun evening, but just thought of the meeting i had with the other contestants, the nite was not tat great afterall ... Monica [from dance also; 1 of the contestants] reached later than me, but once she reached, "hey nat! wad r u doing here? wad r u doing here?" having not harmful intention, i just wanted say we r here for the same reason, "oh.. then why are here then?" "huh?! u mean u r in the pageant? i thought it's Chloe [from salsa]?!" she exclaimed. i just act blur, but telling the truth, "oh is it?! i don't know!" i felt so damn insulted & offended, she is like implying that i dun have the quality to be in this contest?! what lau eh?! WY also reacted very strongly after i told her, "she thinks she very pretty kind is it?!" U c... Even WY also can tell from just this little conversation! My mum also agrees! & finally my reflexes R fast enough to protect myself by reply her. *YEAH! but i was pretty stressed up with the other contestants, altogether 10 of us, 5 gals & 5 guys;; for gals, 2 freshman (year 1), 2 year three (me n monica) & 1 year four (who is still in oversea); whereas for guys, except 4 one year three - jason (my ex-classmate), the rest r all yr one. & quite luckily that i paired up with quite a cute guy, thou he's also among the shortest. he's quite talkative also lah! not bad! while we were waiting 4 seats @ NYDC (wheelock place), we were trying to socialize. Monica immediately chatted non-stop with her partner, whereas my partner and one more guy knew beforehand, and the 2 gals also knew each other b4, so i was the one left out. But just happened tat one of the gals is hongkonger too! so easier 4 me to blend into them! and they both are quite friendly, so i wasn't tat stressed up! not bad! as i was sharing my SMU experiences (as usual, what else is there to start as conversation for strangers, juniors & seniors?) Monica interrupted, "what are u teaching them?" i was like... erm... why must she interrupt? must be she is jealous / threaten to c me blending quite well wiht the others?! hmm... while WY was waiting 4 me, she purposely walked pass to see how the other gals look like, like i said, (she also agrees) they are very skinny! which make me look the fattest lor! haiz... :( that's why i'm so driven to exercise & eat healthy now! must really work hard mann.. what a pressure?! WY also commented that i'm very different from them - though she doesn't know how to say it, what she meant is that i'm the only more nerdy one (perhaps), the rest all got the party look, they will dress up, all of them put eyeliner & mascara, unlike me, bare face (somemore i was in spects)! Probably this is just the way to differentiate myself frm the rest?! haha... *what a self-consolation?!*
