Rush... Rush... Rush & Rush... Today is my very 1st clothes fitting for the Pageant - BUFFALO, at Marina Square - it's a jeans (mainly) boutique, their jeans quite expensive ($300+). Because i'm supposed to be 1 of the 5 that need to do a short 15 seconds video clip (interview -> self-introduction), i rushed down to my mum's facial beautian immediately after my work. But before that, cuz yday i collected my favourite hairpin, so i missed my bus. While waiting, i had my green apple for my dinner. *so poor thing rite?! *sobsob* Once i got home, put down my lappie, i "flew" to her place there cuz i was late for my appointment, luckily i told her yday, or else she must have left. With her professional skills & my "up-to-standard" facial features, she just did a very simple look (basic but yet can be seen). Just happened that she bought a new eye-shadow, which is the same color as my skirt (TURQOISE) - just nice! can match! haha... GOD is On my side too!!! YEAH!!! So within an hour, she completed my simple yet pretty look! Though i was late for the appointment (supposed to meet at 7pm), i managed to get there before 8pm. Thanks to the unexpected smooth traffic! Ran like a chicken & duck to the shop, then i realized that they (the guys) are still trying the clothes, where the girls are outside strolling [due to the limited no. of fitting rooms]. Surprisingly, i saw Krupa & Kenny (whom i know), and Shawn (edwin's bro)! Wah.. maybe cuz i saw familiar faces, that's y i feel more at ease! Soon, Monica they all came back, "Wah Nat! How come your eyes so nice?" Very tempted to reply her - cuz my eyes are nice & i'm borned with them!!! haha... But i just said, "huh?! what do u mean my eyes are nice? my eyes are like that one what?!" Immediately she said, "Oh oh.. i mean the color of ur eye-shadow!" Wah... haha.. just feel so YA-YA {finally}, still remember the way she asked me on last friday!!! haha... that's y i feel so much more confident & happy now!!! YEAH!!! When it's our turn, i rummaged the whole place but still cant really anything that i like! Oh mann... What a lousy sponsor!!! Then, stupid Kenny (President of biz com) kept disturbing me - "reminding" me the importance of my choice of clothes - not only i will be wearing them on that day, i'll be taking photos in that, and the posters will be double of A1 size, and will be pasted everywhere (School, MOS...) Really stress me out mann! And i think i must be very lucky, i was one of the faster to get my set of clothes (all seem to be quite fitting). Whereas others took quite a long time as the clothes are like hanging on them! But my spag to is very simple, and it's quite low-cut! when i wore it, can see my "clivage" (don't know how to spell)! - so paiseh lah! i tot they won't notice, but actually NO! They saw! Melissa (the short one) & Shun Man (the HK one) [both are year 1] were admiring lor! aiya... teased me till i so paiseh! oh mann.. so i hurried up find a jacket to cover abit! But the shop really very dumb, they don't replenish those sizes that are out of stock! So i can only pick the smallest on display - which is LARGE! luckily it's just a jacket, i can wear it loose loose! Later, we had to be filmed as if we were first coming in to the shop n choose the clothes - so spastic lor! Finally, it's interview recording time! I didnt really see how the guys did, cuz i was trying the clothes. But managed to peep at one (Ryan), and as expected, he looked rather serious! As for Melissa (small & skinny one), she looked damn stressed, kept forgetting her lines. She took so long till her face also "melted"! (i meant her make up!) Being the last one, i was assigned to sit at the chair. Just so happen that i was wearing my fav turqoise flare skirt, i overheard 1 of the guys commented that i looked very glam! <-- this boosted up my confidnce even higher! YEah! Now i have even stronger & more confidence that i can WIN this contest, at least i can beat that irritating MONN - YEAH! Living up to my "promise", i only took 1 shot to get my interview done! Initially they said mine was too short, but this is just my style - short & sweet, and i care more for presentation! I managed to do it in 16 seconds! haha... I knew my speech is very different & unique, i wanted to shocked everyone by my 1-shot. but cuz the camera man wana me go through one technical run, so i didn't managed to amazed everyone as i thought; But well... i still managed to get everyone laugh & now, all the guys keeps using that "outstanding key sentence" to tease me! Nevertheless, i really think that everything is working very well for me. i hope for all the upcoming events regarding to this pageant contest, will be as smooth & good & perfect for me! I really hope i can win this contest! Now my immediate goal is to lose weight to raise my competency mann! They all damn skinny & i look so fat when i stand beside them! Yux!!! I must really work hard mann! Haiz... Stressed!
